Clinical Research Nurse (CRN) - Statesville, NC

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Research Nurse to join our team. The role involves performing technical and clinical requirements of study protocols and actively participating in the management and execution of clinical research trials. Responsibilities: Perform venipuncture, specimen processing, vital signs, electrocardiograms, IV infusions, IV pump operations, Holter monitoring, pulmonary function testing, allergy testing, urine/serum pregnancy testing, strep throat screening, and administer injections as ordered by the investigator. Attend investigator meetings, site initiation visits, and coordinator meetings for training on drug preparation and administration. Obtain and monitor knowledge about study drugs, with an emphasis on injection or intravenous infusion medications. Maintain accurate dispensing logs and document laboratory data and adverse reactions, notifying investigators and sponsors of any unexpected events. Assist other staff members as needed and actively recruit patient participants for clinical trials. Complete training on the Clinical Trial Management System and maintain skills to update databases and manage participant reimbursement. Communicate patient status, recruitment status, and clinical needs to investigators and site managers. Build relationships with monitors from sponsoring companies and promote the site for future trials. Prepare study documentation for audits and assist auditors during inspections. Required Skills & Experience: Registered Nurse with an active RN license in North Carolina. 1+ years of prior CRC/CRN/Research experience is ideal. 2+ years of nursing experience, including vaccine administration, phlebotomy, and IV insertion is required. Work Environment: The position is full-time, requiring 5 days on site (Monday to Friday) with a 40-hour work week. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Statesville, NC. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
