Job Description:
We are hiring Strategic Projects Leads (SPLs) to execute and manage delivery of high-value contracts with top AI research labs (e.g., DeepMind, OpenAI, xAI).
SPLs are responsible for managing large teams of data annotators, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery, and interfacing directly with researchers and technical stakeholders.
This is a high-visibility, high-agency role requiring strong operational rigor, project ownership, and communication ability.
You’ll be working out of their SF office alongside the founding team.
The ideal candidate has an elite background (e.g., ex-IB/consulting or prior SPL/data ops experience), is willing to work long hours, and thrives under ambiguity.
Requirements:
Demonstrated history of strong execution in high-pressure environments (e.g., top banking, consulting, or startup ops).
Willingness to work 60-70+ hours/week; intensity expected to match founder pace.
Clear communication skills - must be able to interface directly with technical researchers.
Fast learning and high agency - can operate with low guidance in ambiguous situations.
