We are seeking a
Data Analytics Software Engineer
to design, build, and maintain data systems that drive real-time decision-making and quantitative research in a high-frequency trading environment. You’ll work closely with traders, quantitative researchers, and software engineers to transform massive, high-velocity data streams into actionable insights and robust analytical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize data pipelines for ingesting, cleaning, and transforming large volumes of real-time and historical trading data.
Design and maintain scalable data storage and retrieval systems to support quantitative research and live trading.
Build analytical frameworks and dashboards to monitor trading performance, latency, and execution quality.
Collaborate with quants and developers to implement data-driven models and backtesting environments.
Ensure data integrity, reliability, and low-latency access across systems.
Continuously improve tooling for performance monitoring, anomaly detection, and reporting.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of
Python
fundamentals; ability to write both object-oriented and functional style code.
Hands‑on experience with the
JupyterHub/JupyterLab
environment; experience supporting multiple users preferred.
Experience with major Python analysis libraries such as
pandas ,
polars ,
numpy ,
scipy ,
scikit‑learn ; high‑performance optimization on large data analytics is highly desirable.
Experience with distributed analysis or query engines like
Spark ,
Trino ,
Dremio , and
Dask .
Experience working with data‑lake technologies such as
Databricks ,
Snowflake ,
Iceberg , and
Parquet .
Experience using LLM tools for productivity, including analysis and code generation.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in HFT, prop trading, or quantitative finance.
Familiarity with Linux systems and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes).
Exposure to machine learning techniques for market data analysis.
Compensation Base pay range: $400,000.00/yr - $500,000.00/yr.
