Role: Salesforce Administrator

Location: Chicago, IL — Hybrid (3 days/week in office)

We are seeking a proactive, hands‑on Salesforce Administrator to join our team and execute on our strategic Salesforce vision. This role is an expansion of a cross‑functional team dedicated to internal tools growth, reporting to the leadership of our business systems team with day‑to‑day collaboration and guidance from our Salesforce platform's technical lead and product owner.

You will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing our multi‑cloud Salesforce ecosystem including Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and connected applications. You'll have the opportunity to work in a well‑architected Salesforce environment equipped with cutting‑edge tools including Data Cloud and Agentforce, giving you hands‑on experience with the latest innovations in the Salesforce ecosystem.

The administrator will collaborate with operations and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements, troubleshoot user issues, provide training and support, and implement effective solutions that align with business objectives. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast‑paced fintech environment, leveraging your in‑depth knowledge of Salesforce best practices while working with cutting‑edge technology and AI‑powered productivity tools.

What You’ll Do

Manage the configuration and maintenance of our Salesforce platform and integrated tools, leveraging your in‑depth knowledge of Salesforce best practices.

Manage the full project lifecycle, including gathering requirements, developing solutions, and ensuring effective implementation and user adoption.

Manage user accounts, roles, profiles, permission sets, and security settings across all platforms.

Work with external systems and maintain data integrations with Salesforce to ensure data integrity and consistent data flows.

Develop and optimize flows, validation rules, and approval processes to streamline operations.

Create and maintain custom objects, fields, record types, and page layouts to support business requirements.

Create and maintain reports and dashboards to meet stakeholder requirements, providing insights and recommendations.

Build, organize, and manage a comprehensive technical documentation library including architecture diagrams, data models, and technical specifications.

Provide first‑line technical support for end users and troubleshoot system issues.

Who You Are

Certified Salesforce Administrator with 2–4 years of hands‑on Administrator experience.

Experience with multiple Salesforce clouds – Sales/Service Cloud required; experience with Marketing Cloud & Data Cloud preferred.

Proficient in admin tasks: configuring standard and custom objects and fields; managing Lightning record pages, record types, and validation rules; and building reports/dashboards for stakeholders.

Deep expertise in Flow Builder and declarative development tools.

Understanding of relational databases and database management principles.

Demonstrated experience managing external integrations.

Strong experience managing Salesforce orgs including user management, security, and governance.

Strong understanding of Salesforce security models and data architecture.

Experience gathering requirements and translating them into functional specifications.

Comfortable leveraging AI tools to maximize productivity and enhance system capabilities.

Proven project management expertise with ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, and processes.

Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues to find effective solutions.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Self‑motivated and able to work independently while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Salary Information Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 / yr.

Actual salary offered will be based on the candidate's level of experience and qualifications.

Discretionary performance bonus: 8–12 % of base salary based on individual and company performance.
