Knowledge Manager and SharePoint/Power Platform Developer
Tuknik Government Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Knowledge Manager and SharePoint/Power Platform Developer with a Top‑Secret security clearance to support our government customer in Washington, DC.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties The Knowledge Manager / Power Platform Developer will be responsible for the comprehensive management and technical advancement of the client SharePoint environment and related Microsoft technologies. Principal responsibilities include:
Develop, manage, and administer the client’s SharePoint sites, ensuring optimal functionality, performance, permission management, and user experience.
Design, implement, and maintain advanced SharePoint solutions including lists, libraries, pages, forms, web parts, and workflows to meet organizational needs and streamline business processes.
Support facilities/finance systems by integrating relevant data and processes into the SharePoint environment.
Prepare sites for migration from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online and support post‑migration updates.
Convert custom‑coded JavaScript/jQuery functionality within SharePoint forms and pages into SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JSON, or out‑of‑the‑box SharePoint/alternative solutions.
Develop surveys in SharePoint or Microsoft Forms.
Export data from SharePoint, perform data analysis, and support delivery of strategic reports in response to client requests and business needs.
Deliver expert advice and recommendations regarding website organization, development, and knowledge management best practices.
Train and support end users in troubleshooting and utilizing SharePoint and Power Apps tools to maximize effective use.
Document all solutions, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and sustainability of future development efforts.
Develop and manage Power Automate flows to automate SharePoint, Power Apps, and other Microsoft 365 application functions and provide re‑occurring information dissemination to personnel.
Convert SharePoint 2010 and 2013 workflows to Power Automate flows.
Develop, test, and deploy Microsoft Power Apps solutions to convert legacy tools, support business processes, and enhance productivity.
Continually research and implement new SharePoint and Power Platform capabilities to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2‑5+ years of experience in SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online administration and development.
0‑3+ years of experience with Power Apps.
0‑3+ years of experience with Power Automate.
1‑3+ years of experience with JavaScript/jQuery development.
Experience working in a government or government contractor environment preferred.
Active Top Secret security clearance required.
Required Skills and Competencies
Demonstrated proficiency in SharePoint administration, site design, and governance.
Proficiency in creating advanced Power Automate flows for business process automation.
Experience designing and implementing custom forms and tracking systems.
Ability to collect and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong JavaScript programming skills with the ability to update custom code solutions for SharePoint.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern web development practices.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Ability to analyze data and generate charts and reports.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Experience documenting technical solutions and creating user training materials.
Understanding of information architecture and knowledge management principles.
Ability and willingness to work onsite at the client location in Washington DC.
Desired Skills and Competencies
Familiarity with database design principles.
Experience with SharePoint migration and governance planning.
Knowledge of Power Apps development, including canvas and/or model‑driven apps.
Experience developing custom solutions using JSON or SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
Knowledge of SharePoint REST API and client‑side object model (CSOM).
Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
Experience integrating SharePoint with other enterprise systems.
Understanding of federal government IT policies and procedures.
Experience with records management and compliance requirements.
Knowledge of accessibility standards and Section 508 compliance.
Clearance Requirement Active Top Secret security clearance required.
