Responsibilities
Providetechnicalassistancedevelopingandimplementinginvitroassaysusing intestinalorganoid-derivedmodels
Collaboratewithcross-functionalteamstocharacterizeinvitroresponsetovarioussmall moleculesandbiologics,includingbutnotlimitedtocellviabilityassays, permeabilityassays highthroughputimagingandsinglecellRNA-sequencing.
Independentlyexecutetoxicityandimage-basedassays.
Partnerwithcultureautomationteamstoestablishworkflowsforhighthroughput screens.
Analyze,interpret,andpresentdatatocollaboratorsandstakeholdersas appropriate,with clearverbalandwrittencommunication.
Qualifications
BS/MSinbiology,bioengineering,biomedicalengineering,pharmacology/toxicology,ora relatedfieldwith4+yearsofwetlab basedexperienceinacademic,biotech/pharmaceutic,or researchorganizations.
Significantlaboratory-basedexpertisewithtissuecultureisrequired,particularlywith primarytissue-derivedcelllinesoriPSCs.
Experiencewith3Dorganoidororganoid-derivedtechnologies(monolayers, microphysiologicalsystems/chips,etc)ishighlydesirable.
Proficientinmolecularbiology/quantitativeendpointassayssuchasantibody (ELISA)and cell-basedviabilityassays(LDH,CellTiter-Glo)atscale(96-384wellformats).
Experiencewithroutineimagingandimage-basedanalysisispreferred,including immunofluorescence,confocalmicroscopy,andhigh-contentimaging.
