Job Description The Social Catering Sales Manager is responsible for selling, contracting, and servicing events at Omni Parker House, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency while meeting guest satisfaction goals and overall profitability objectives.

Responsibilities

Proactively sell, contract, and service social and small corporate bookings with a primary focus on weddings.

Coordinate all event aspects assigned by the Director of Catering & Convention Services, including food & beverage, timing, audio‑visual requirements, guest accommodations, rooming lists, and special meal requests.

Adhere to all Catering and Convention Service Department and resort standard operating procedures.

Meet and/or exceed personal monthly and annual sales production goals.

Be aware of departmental operating budget and upsell opportunities.

Partner with the culinary team to create menus that fit client needs and maximize revenue.

Recommend appropriate vendors for group‑related services to drive hotel revenue.

Prepare and review group resumes at weekly resume meetings.

Create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and distribute them to relevant departments.

Assist with coordination of on‑site ancillary revenue activities (spa, golf, recreation, etc.).

Conduct resort site inspection tours when necessary.

Maintain close client contact to ensure guest satisfaction and build repeat relationships.

During events, ensure all planned specifications are followed and correct issues promptly.

Conduct pre‑ and post‑conferral meetings with clients as appropriate.

Proactively achieve high Medallia scores by building rapport, thorough preparation, and visible engagement during conferences.

Attend required meetings: Stand‑Up, BEO, Resume, and Department Staff meetings.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).

At least 2+ years of catering sales experience in an upscale or luxury full‑service hotel.

Flexible work hours, including weekends and holidays.

Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and other management systems.

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle multiple complex events concurrently.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Professional appearance and presentation.

Salary Range: $63,159 – $89,739 per year, commensurate with experience.
