Job Description
We are LCA Architects, an award winning architectural firm located near BART in Walnut Creek and Oakland, California. Our dynamic, self‑motivated team members contribute in all aspects of architectural design. We are seeking a Senior Project Architect who can put a building together using superior technical knowledge and produce sound architectural drawings.
Responsibilities
Produce first‑rate construction documents and coordination of all consultants.
Obtain approvals from agencies and provide construction administration.
Manage budgets and schedules and ensure sound project delivery fundamentals.
Lead Type V and III, low and mid‑rise construction projects.
Coordinate the work of others, delegate when necessary, and critically review project deliverables.
Maintain current knowledge of building codes, materials and products.
Requirements
Architectural Registration in California or NCARB.
Minimum 10 years of professional working experience.
Expertise in permitting and construction administration.
Outstanding abilities in detailing, problem solving, and construction documents and specifications.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD.
Project planning, client communications and team leadership experience.
Strong familiarity with materials and products.
U.S. Citizenship or current INS authorization to work in the United States is required.
