Keiser University is seeking an experienced and motivated Program Director for our Diagnostic Medical Sonography Associate of Science program. The Program Director will be responsible for the overall planning, development, organization, administration, and effectiveness of the DMS program, ensuring compliance with institutional and accreditation standards. This role encompasses teaching responsibilities, supervising faculty, coordinating clinical site management, and providing program accreditation compliance.
Program Directors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to develop, maintain and deliver education services to students through:
Creating and maintaining core curriculum across the institution
Communicating and monitoring delivery of core curriculum
Preparing course plans and material
Delivering courses
Monitoring progress/attendance
Advising students
Recording grades and submitting reports
Key Responsibilities
Oversee curriculum development and program outcomes Coordinate student clinical placements and maintain affiliate relationships Ensure compliance with CAAHEP and ARDMS accreditation standards Teach didactic and/or clinical courses as needed Advise and support student success and retention Qualifications
ARDMS certification in Abdomen and OB/GYN (RVT) Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in diagnostic medical sonography At least 2 years of teaching or administrative experience in an accredited DMS program Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills If you are interested in applying for this job please press the Apply Button and follow the application process.
