Staff Facilities Engineer
Location Denver, CO or Bridgeport, WV
Type Full-Time | Exempt | Safety Sensitive
Key Responsibilities
Plan, design, and manage facilities projects.
Estimate costs and monitor project budgets.
Ensure designs and documentation meet regulatory and internal standards.
Develop process models (e.g., ProMax) for production/processing scenarios.
Lead safe work procedures for construction, maintenance, and operations.
Evaluate environmental and emission compliance.
Implement new technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Identify design/process deficiencies and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Engineering (Chemical, Petroleum, Mechanical).
12+ years engineering experience, 3+ years midstream/production experience.
Field and operations experience in production/midstream environments.
Knowledge of air quality regulations and ESG considerations.
Core Skills
Well pad/compressor station design, P&ID, equipment evaluation.
Process modeling, mechanical design, metallurgy, failure analysis.
Risk management, financial evaluation, analytical skills.
Strong communication, organization, and team collaboration skills.
Safety-conscious with ability to lead safe operations.
Work Environment & Travel
Primarily office-based; occasional field visits.
Minimal travel (under 25%).
Able to operate vehicles, equipment, and tools safely.
