We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our development team. You will be responsible for designing and developing innovative and high-quality systems with expertise in high-voltage batteries, microgrids, electric vehicles, or battery management systems.

Principal Responsibilities
Optimize architecture and circuits for power consumption and efficiency.
Select components, design, implement, debug and characterize embedded systems with end-to-end ownership of EE product design from concept to production.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as industrial design, mechanical, RF, architecture, product design, NPI, and supply chain.
Design schematics, drive board layouts, assembly, test, debug, and integrate designs into electro‑mechanical systems.
Ensure product compliance with industry-specific certifications/regulations.
Perform other duties as required.
Basic Qualifications
BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
5+ years in medical/commercial/industrial/consumer electronics or related fields, with design for low cost, manufacturability, and high reliability.
7+ years in embedded or mobile system design based on SOCs, hardware architecture, board design, board bring‑up and product NPI experience.
Experience with schematic capture tools such as OrCAD or Altium and PCB layout or viewer tools from Cadence Allegro, Altium, or equivalent.
Experience integrating designs using 32‑bit+ ARM, RISC, or PC architecture application processors or microcontrollers.
Experience implementing analog designs including filters and power conversion.
Experience developing designs with industry standard interfaces such as I2C, I2S, SPI, PCI, RS232.
Can solve complex problems while displaying technical creativity.
Experience and knowledge of printed circuit board (PCB) technologies, such as rigid, flex, hybrid, HDI, etc.
Design for Safety and EMC agency compliance requirements, perform or oversee agency certification testing, and mitigate issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and desire to support and mentor other engineers.
Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and collaborate with partners to deliver outstanding results.
Hands‑on experience in initial IC bring‑up and debugging, functional verification, and manufacturing support.
Comprehensive understanding of the product development, validation, and support life cycle for a complex vertical product.
Ability to meet vigilant engineering, customer and/or government security screening and background check requirements.
Due to contractual obligations with the U.S. government, this position requires the candidate to be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident).
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in EE, CE, CS, or related.
Demonstrated experience seeing a product from early design all the way through being shipped and supported to a real‑world customer.
Experience designing under aerospace engineering and quality standards such as AS 91xx, SAE, ISO or other highly‑regulated environments.
Expert in one or more subsystems in typical electronics products such as battery charging system development, camera, SOC/Compute, control systems, sensors & data acquisition, power management, etc.
Experience performing bench‑level measurements for analog, high‑speed signal and power.
Experience designing for signal integrity and low EM emission and susceptibility.
