Professional Driver (+Executive Protection Agent)

The Executive Protection Agent/Driver will provide secure, discreet, and reliable transportation and protective support to a high-profile family based in San Francisco. Working primarily with the Principal and his wife, this individual will ensure their safety, privacy, and comfort while managing all driving logistics and situational awareness with professionalism and tact.
This is not a high-risk assignment but one requiring strong judgment, emotional intelligence, and impeccable discretion. The EPA will serve as a trusted, long-term member of the household team, working closely with estate staff and executive operations personnel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide safe, reliable, and confidential transportation for the Principals and family members.
Maintain heightened situational awareness and ensure personal safety without intrusion.
Coordinate vehicle logistics – fueling, maintenance, readiness, and route planning.
Manage airport/FBO transfers and coordinate with charter operators and security personnel.
Assist with scheduling coordination and transport for appointments, social engagements, and family activities.
Accompany the Principals to events, restaurants, and meetings as required.
Handle occasional errands, pickups, and deliveries with accuracy and discretion.
Travel with Principals on limited domestic trips (approximately twice per month)
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times, especially when interacting with family members and staff.
Assess and improve any safety protocols within home to ensure comprehensive security foundation for family.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years’ experience in protective driving or executive protection for high-profile or private individuals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – professional, composed, and discreet.
Strong understanding of San Francisco, Palo Alto, and surrounding Bay Area geography.
Experience with private aviation (FBOs, charter protocols) highly preferred.
Valid driver’s license with clean record; defensive driving training a plus.
Concealed carry permit a plus (not mandatory).
Physically fit, calm under pressure, and able to adapt to evolving needs.
Strong judgment, reliability, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Clean background and excellent references
Compensation: $135,000-$180,000+ DOE, comprehensive benefits, PTO Schedule: Monday-Saturday, with one day off per week / Typical hours: 7:00/8:00 AM – 7:00/8:00 PM, with flexibility as neededLocation: San Francisco + surrounding areas
