Job Description Civil Engineering Designer (a Mid-Level Engineer role) will work on various land development projects. Under the supervision of Project Managers, this person will perform engineering analysis and design on small to medium sized projects and tasks.
Qualifications
B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering (Must be in Civil Engineering)
2+ years of civil design experience (this can be from internships, co-op programs, or paid work experience)
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Heavy experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Experience with other drainage and stormwater programs such as SDHM and Civil D
Responsibilities
Preparation of lot layouts, preliminary grading plans, and tentative parcel maps
Preparation of grading and improvement plans under the supervision of Project Managers
Assists Project Managers with grading design, road elevation design, and sewer and water layout
High production drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Preparation of drainage studies and stormwater reports under the supervision of Project Managers
