Part Time Program Manager - Des Plaines School District
Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students.
Position Details
Pay Rate: $20-24/hour (based on education and experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM‑9:00 AM and 2:45 PM‑6:00 PM. Must work these hours.
Location: Schools in the Des Plaines School District. Preference may be based on business needs.
Start Date: Immediate
Requirements
Ability to meet state‑specific requirements.
First Aid and CPR in‑person, obtainable within 30 days of employment.
Cleared tuberculosis test, obtainable within 30 days of employment.
18 years old or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
Ensure safety and joy standards are met, maintaining clear understanding of roles and responsibilities.
Support operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date.
Outline attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensure program tasks are completed effectively.
Provide coaching, fostering respectful relationships among staff, addressing challenges promptly to maintain team cohesion.
Consistently support and report on safety protocols, ensuring the well‑being of all participants.
Ideal Candidates Will Have
Experience working with competing priorities and delivering quality service to stakeholders.
High school diploma or GED.
Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
Coursework or training in child development and/or related field.
Strong communication skills—oral, written, and visual with adults and children.
Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
