Join an industry‑leading, employee‑owned consulting firm as a Senior Transportation Project Manager in our Chicago transportation group. In this role, you will lead and coordinate transportation projects, collaborate with clients, and support business development.
Base Pay Range $150,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and oversee transportation projects including local roads, medium highways, and complex freeway/interchange projects.
Develop marketing strategies for new transportation projects.
Build and manage new and existing client relationships.
Collaborate across verticals to ensure successful project outcomes.
Represent the company at industry events and public meetings.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 12 years of transportation engineering experience (highway and local street design).
Clear understanding of Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) standards and procedures.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Illinois.
Proven leadership/management experience.
Preferred: Prior project management experience with IDOT.
Proficiency in design software such as MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer (ORD), AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
