Electromechanical Assembler

Join our team as an Electromechanical Assembler, where you will be responsible for the machine assembly of paper handling equipment, including the installation of system controls. This role also involves refurbishing equipment taken back in trade, which includes thorough cleanup, implementation of Engineering Change Order (ECO) updates, and the replacement of all wear parts. The position is physically demanding and requires standing, kneeling, and lifting. Responsibilities: Assemble paper handling equipment and install system controls. Refurbish equipment returned in trade, performing intense cleanup and ECO updates. Replace all wear parts of refurbished equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and layouts. Utilize hand tools and power tools (pneumatic and electric) effectively. Identify fastener thread sizes, both standard and metric. Collaborate and work efficiently in a group environment. Essential Skills: Ability to read blueprints and layouts. Strong mechanical aptitude. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Understanding of mechanical assembly, production, and schematics. Comfortable with standing, kneeling, and lifting up to 60 lbs throughout the day. Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Prior manufacturing experience is required. Familiarity with fastener thread sizes, both standard and metric. Comfortable working hours from 6am to 2:30pm. Work Environment: Our facility operates from 6am to 2:30pm, requiring a commitment to physically demanding tasks such as standing, kneeling, and lifting up to 60 lbs. We provide all necessary tools for your tasks, and you will work in a collaborative group setting. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of North Andover, MA. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
