Project Context High‑scale PIM implementation as central product‑data hub; 4.2M+ SKUs; near‑real‑time sync with INFOR CSD ERP.
Role Focus
CSD↔PIM integration architecture; object & table mapping (ICSW, ICSP, ICSC, APVEND, PDSF, ICSS, ICSEU, IC SL); adherence to CSD validation rules.
API & ETL patterns; REST/GraphQL/SFTP; idempotent upserts; retry/rollback; logging/monitoring; API auth (OAuth2/API keys).
Performance at scale; concurrent jobs; pagination/rate‑limit strategy; async vs sync; queue/webhook orchestration.
Cloud & security baselines; AWS networking (private links/VPN), encryption in transit/at rest, RBAC/SSO, secrets management, observability.
Data governance; rule‑driven validation/exception workflows; taxonomy/channel mapping; change history/audit.
Boundary decisions; bidirectional vs one‑way sync; what stays authoritative in ERP (e.g., customer‑specific pricing) vs enrichment in PIM; one‑way exports to BI/CRM/WMS.
Must‑have Experience
INFOR CSD hands‑on; schema knowledge; integration with CSD APIs/direct DB; typical distributor configurations and validation constraints.
High‑throughput integrations; delta vs full loads; scheduling vs eventing; concurrency/threading models; cache/temporary‑table strategies.
Production‑grade DevOps; AWS (IAM, VPC, VPC peering/VPN, S3, RDS, CloudWatch), CI/CD, IaC; RBAC/SSO (SAML/OIDC).
Solid programming for integrations (e.g., C#/.NET, Java, or Python) plus SQL.
Nice to Have
ROC Commerce commerce flows; Web Presented CRM exposure; Entrinsik Informer/Phocas data feeds.
Large‑catalog PIM programs; ≥1M SKU environments; referenceable B2B distribution use cases.
Messaging/webhooks design; Airflow/NiFi or similar ETL; GraphQL experience.
Core Responsibilities
Integration blueprint, data contracts, and mapping catalog (CSD↔PIM).
Non‑functional guardrails: throughput targets, back‑pressure controls, retry/dead‑letter policies, observability SLIs.
Security posture: encryption standards, credential rotation, least‑privilege RBAC, SSO integration.
Runbooks: failure scenarios, failback paths, reconciliation jobs, idempotency checks.
Guidance on system of record and bidirectionality rules per object (pricing, inventory, attributes, media).
Success Indicators (First 90 Days)
Secure connectivity and data flow established (ERP↔PIM) with low latency on agreed objects.
Baseline mappings for key CSD tables validated and promoted to QA.
Stable delta pipelines with replay/idempotency and monitoring dashboards in place.
