Driver, Class B CDL with HazMat and Tanker Endorsement role at

$22.00/hr - $31.00/hr Responsibilities
Operate truck as directed to transport petroleum products between the facility and multiple destinations. Prepare, receive, and provide documentation for the delivery and/or pick-up of petroleum products to ensure timely service. Deliver petroleum products in accordance with customer needs and company policies. Maintain contact with home terminal/dispatch to receive delivery instructions or notices of route/schedule changes to meet customer needs and safety standards. Perform daily vehicle inspections (pre/post trip) and ensure proper function of safety features; refuel as needed. Comply with all DOT, EPA, FMCSA, and company regulations; follow department SOPs and safety rules. Inspect/performs minor troubleshooting and repair of employer/customer storage tanks and dispensing equipment. Maintain required driver credentials and keep them up to date at various terminals as needed for fuel delivery. Maintain a clean presentation of the driver and vehicle. Assist in implementing improvement projects or system enhancements to achieve efficiency, quality, and/or cost savings. Adhere to Company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices; solve problems as needed. Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment; perform or follow preventative maintenance procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience; Class B CDL with HazMat and Tanker Endorsements required. Forklift experience a bonus. Prior petroleum product delivery experience strongly preferred. Languages: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents; read, speak, and write English. Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply basic math concepts (fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions). Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions; define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Class B CDL with HazMat and Tanker Endorsements; driving record satisfactory to the Company and insurers. Other Skills: Computer skills including Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams preferred. Physical Demands: Regular sitting, walking, and use of hands; ability to lift up to 25 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds occasionally; may require assistance for heavier items; ability to work at heights and uneven surfaces.
