VP, Financial Reporting

Our client is a hedge fund. They seek a VP, Financial Reporting to join their Los Angeles, CA office. This opportunity offers a hybrid work schedule and competitive salary and benefits.

Base pay range $140,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Manage the Company’s SEC financial reporting process, including quarterly and annual filings

Contribute to the preparation and review of quarterly earnings materials

Prepare and review the Audit Committee and Board meeting materials

Comply with key financial reporting controls and Sarbanes‑Oxley

Ensure the Company’s SEC filings comply with XBRL requirements

Work with the internal and external auditors and provide various requests

Research technical guidance and implement new accounting pronouncements

Streamline the current financial reporting process by improving processes

Develop working relationships within the accounting team, legal, and compliance

Requirements

12+ years of SEC reporting experience

Experience with 10K, 10Q, etc.

Public (Big 4) or combo accounting experience

Financial Services or Asset Management industry experience

Organized, analytical, with keen attention to detail

Skilled in Excel and Geneva
