Marketing Manager I/II, Peer-To-Peer Lead

The Strategic Marketing Team is responsible for leading execution of and maximizing effectiveness across all of U.S. Rheumatology as it relates to the following focus areas: Congresses, Sponsorships, Speaker Programs, and External Consulting arrangements. This group works collaboratively with other U.S. Commercial Rheumatology teams to establish and manage strategies derived from brand plans, create annual plans related to the above focus areas, and work alongside AbbVie internal functions to support flawless execution. The Marketing Manager I/II, Peer-To-Peer Lead (P2P) position will have responsibility for leading the development and execution of P2P promotional content across SKYRIZI for Rheumatology (PsA). They will create content that is consistent with the Brand messaging, and on strategy to meet business objectives. They will manage existing content and make decisions to update and retire existing content to ensure the library of relevant material is on strategy. They will optimize and innovate on the delivery of peer-to-peer promotion, including digital, to ensure the right customers attend peer to peer promotional programs to maximize ROI. The successful candidate will closely collaborate with Brand Teams, Internal and External Agencies, Medical, Regulatory, Market Analytics and Business Intelligence (MABI), Legal, Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC), to plan, execute, and create P2P materials. Major Responsibilities: Lead the development and execution of peer-to-peer promotional efforts across all Rheumatology indications. Continually contribute to process and capability innovation through assessments and recommendations of Speaker Programs. Manage and oversee agency execution and accountability of P2P content and logistics (including Speaker Training, National Webinars, etc.). Oversee approval of Statements of Work / Purchase Orders, including coordination with relevant vendors and other logistics, as required. Be familiar with market research and customer insights that could improve or impact peer to peer promotion. Partner closely with Brand team leaders to ensure peer to peer promotion is launched timely in conjunction with any changes in messaging, or strategy Partner closely with the SMMs to ensure the speaker's bureau is optimized and trained appropriately for content launches. Strong collaboration and communication with the field sales leadership (SDs, and RSDs) to ensure alignment on goals, budgets, strategies and execution of peer to peer. Stay current on all processes and procedures related to Speaker Programs. Ensure adherence to relevant policies and procedures related to planning and executing Speaker Programs, in collaboration with OEC. Accountability/Scope: Reporting to the Associate Director Execution of Goal Plan, AbbVie Ways of Working with associated Leadership Attributes Travel up to 20% of the time. Position based at Abbvie HQ/Mettawa, IL. Skills/Experience Requirements: 5+ years of sales, sales management, or marketing/agency experience with at least 2 years in pharmaceutical Experience with HCP related activities required. Knowledge of marketing concepts within strategic planning process preferred. Efficient project management and communication capabilities along with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills Strong collaboration and team orientation, with experience accomplishing results through others and influencing others. Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree. MBA preferred. Previous Immunology Sales/Marketing experience preferred.
