Leading all sales and account planning, forecasting, reporting, and management efforts for assigned accounts within the territory Develop and maintain target accounts while driving sales growth and new business within a specific territory Understand, assess, and anticipate customers objectives, strategies, and requirements to identify and pursue sales opportunities Acquire new customers to maximize supply center revenue Provide exceptional, escalated customer service follow-up and partner with the primary contact point for issue resolution Work closely with supply center and corporate resources to enter and fulfill orders Possess strong knowledge of the AM sales process and policies (accruals, credit, expenses, rewards) Act as a mentor for other sales representatives Key Responsibilities
Bring core product specification knowledge, application, and value to the customer Understand necessary building codes and how they impact company products Read blueprints and understand take-off capabilities for core products Sell remodeling, new construction, project work, and Installed Sales Solutions (ISS) Demonstrate all core products to small and large audiences Understand basics of negotiating correct market value pricing for the territory and seek advice from an appropriate Manager Required Education, Experience & Skills
Successful sales history with 2+ years of outside sales experience Solid longevity in past positions Self-directed, highly organized, customer-focused, detail oriented, and competitive Strong organizational and time management skills CRM experience required Microsoft Suite proficiency for day-to-day use Proven experience in new business selling, upselling, and selling Travel 70% of the week within the region Preferred Education, Experience & Skills
Experience within the building materials industry is highly preferred Bachelor's degree preferred Salesforce preferred Working knowledge of core building material products (specifically windows & siding) for both single and multi-family applications Preferred experience working with builders and architects to create bigger ticket sales Compensation & Benefits
Base range: $65,000 to $75,000 based on experience Commission: 55% uncapped Employees and eligible family members are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; 401(k) with company matching; benefits vary for Union facilities Annual vacation pay and paid holidays; holiday schedule may vary by department/organization Other compensation may include bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation; position dependent The stated benefits are for full-time positions working 30+ hours/week; part-time positions may be eligible for limited benefits A collaborative environment with idea-sharing, learning, and curiosity; training and mentoring; opportunities for growth within the company About Alside
