Description The Manager Treasury plays a key role in managing the company’s global cash, liquidity, and working capital to ensure financial flexibility and stability. Reporting to the Corporate Treasurer, this position oversees daily treasury operations, drives optimization of global cash flow, supports capital and risk management strategies, and partners cross-functionally to enhance treasury processes and systems. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability, operational excellence, and a strategic mindset to enable sustainable growth and effective financial stewardship.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Cash and Liquidity Management

Develop and maintain accurate short- and long-term cash flow forecasts to ensure timely funding of obligations

Monitor and optimize global cash positioning and liquidity levels to support operational and strategic needs

Identify and implement opportunities to improve cash flow visibility, utilization, and return on cash balances

Partner with business units and finance teams to forecast and manage cash needs across entities

Working Capital Optimization

Lead initiatives to improve working capital performance, including optimizing days sales outstanding (DSO), days payable outstanding (DPO), and inventory turnover

Analyze and report key working capital metrics, providing actionable insights to enhance efficiency

Collaborate with business leaders to implement best practices and continuous improvement strategies across the order-to-cash and procure-to-pay cycles

Treasury Operations and Systems

Manage daily treasury operations including cash positioning, payments, intercompany funding, and bank account administration

Support the selection, implementation, and enhancement of treasury management systems (TMS) and automation tools

Centralize and streamline treasury processes across new and existing entities, including bank account consolidation and standardization

Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and all regulatory requirements governing treasury activities

Support fraud prevention initiatives through effective internal controls and process design

Risk and Capital Management

Assist in identifying and mitigating financial risks including interest rate, foreign exchange, and counterparty exposures

Support the development and execution of hedging strategies and related reporting

Contribute to the management of debt and intercompany financing structures, ensuring covenant compliance and effective use of capital

Participate in capital market transactions and related analyses as needed

Strategic and Cross-Functional Support

Support M&A integration activities, ensuring effective alignment of treasury, cash, and working capital processes in newly acquired entities

Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and Operations to align treasury initiatives with corporate goals

Contribute to policy development and treasury governance frameworks that promote transparency, control, and efficiency

Perform other duties as assigned

Salary: $140,000

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred

Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation strongly preferred

7+ years of progressive experience in treasury, corporate finance, or financial operations, preferably in transportation, logistics, or a private equity-backed environment

2+ years leading managers

Strong understanding of working capital management, cash management, treasury operations, and financial risk management.

Experience with treasury systems (e.g., Kyriba, Quantum, GTreasury) and ERP integrations

Exposure to M&A integration or international cash management is an asset

Experience with ERP or accounting software a plus (e.g. Great Plains Software)

Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with ERP and BI/reporting systems

Advanced skills with Microsoft Office; Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)
