Job Profile Summary The primary function of this position is to be the lead POC for connectivity solutions design function, to provide technical evaluations, preliminary network designs, and project management of all pre‑construction activities. This position is also responsible for ensuring the solutions are designed per the customer requirements and also per industry standards.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
Drive DAS, Wifi, fiber, Small Cell and other projects from inception to operation.
Create and implement long‑term goals and objectives for the design team.
Present to executive leadership on team status, industry trends, and other pertinent topics.
Assist Director of Construction and other engineers in developing strategies and contingencies for technological changes.
Coordinate with OEMs to develop training, understand technical roadmaps, and ensure supply chain continuity.
Work as an extension of the Sales Team in a customer‑facing role.
Be involved with providing and presenting technical information to customers from quote to close.
Solve customer problems by recommending products and design suggestions.
Review customer designs for feasibility and accuracy in material.
Develop standards for Implementation, RF Engineering & System Acceptance.
Develop detailed bills of material for applications.
Support RFP responses.
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives.
Develop strategic relationships with DAS, Fiber, Wifi and Construction Service providers.
Explore and diligence new business opportunities, obtaining realistic quotes for material costs to deploy a particular network.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field of study.
5‑10 years of demonstrated knowledge and experience managing employee/contractor relations items in conjunction with management.
5+ years experience in wireless telecommunications with demonstrated management capabilities. Strong knowledge of DAS, Wifi, Private networks, and fiber optic systems.
Demonstrated knowledge and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Domestic Travel 30% of the time.
Valid Government Issued Driver’s License.
IBWave certification preferred.
Completion of the Fundamentals in Engineering Exam (Preferred).
