$110,000.00/yr - $139,000.00/yr
Position Sr. Manufacturing Engineering Leader
Location: Onsite in Albany, GA
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, electrical, or mechanical preferred)
5+ years of manufacturing experience (food & beverage preferred)
3+ years of leadership experience (P&L, projects, scheduling, etc.)
Experience with capital projects up to $1M
Applicants must be local to Albany, GA and be able to commute onsite 5‑days per week
Responsibilities
Provide engineering guidance and leadership at the plant level
Supervise and coach direct reports, perform performance reviews and provide feedback
Lead the development and implementation of the plant/business unit 3‑year capital plan, including capital appropriation requests, competitive equipment and service bids, purchase order contracts, project management, fund control, and training
Recommend and assist in equipment/process system modifications and replacements
Remain up‑to‑date on technology related to plant operations
Develop, implement and control approved budgets
Create and maintain engineering records (equipment records, manuals, drawings, inspection reports, legal records)
Drive integrated maintenance process including effective predictive/preventative maintenance program, work order procedures, and optimized parts inventory
Oversee the identification, selection, skills assessment, training, performance evaluation, and development of maintenance and engineering associates
Lead energy management and efficiency initiatives, including plant, division, and company goals
Work closely with OSHA, EPA, and FDA to ensure plant compliance with current regulations
