We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Research Technician to support our cutting‑edge research teams and help drive breakthroughs in cancer research and treatment. As a research technician, you will work hands‑on with a variety of laboratory techniques and equipment, contributing to projects that accelerate discoveries improving patient outcomes.
Role Overview
Laboratory Support:
Prepare and maintain lab equipment, instruments, solutions, stains, assays, and other essential supplies.
Techniques & Assays:
Perform specialized techniques such as cell culture, cell separation, electrophoresis, TIA, ELISA, etc.
Animal Handling:
Conduct animal studies, including injections, tissue/fluids collection, and animal autopsies to facilitate chemical identification and analysis.
Data Management:
Record and analyze research data, prepare reports, and provide insights to the research team.
Collaboration:
Assist peers and researchers with ongoing projects, fostering a team‑oriented, supportive environment.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Proven basic laboratory skills and the ability to handle diverse tasks in a research setting.
Core Skills
Outstanding communication and self‑awareness.
Critical thinking and problem‑solving to optimize efficiency.
Adaptability and resilience to lead change and innovation.
Collaboration and building trusting relationships.
Additional Information
Location: NYC; Zuckerman, Rockefeller Research Laboratories, Schwartz
