The University of Florida seeks applications for an open-rank (Assistant/Associate/full) professor position in Higher Education Administration and Policy. The UF Higher Education Administration and Policy program sits in one of the top 5 public colleges of education for graduate studies and was instrumental in creating Florida’s community college system. We have a rich history of research and scholarship in higher education leadership, policy, and practice. We seek established candidates with scholarly interests focused on higher education administration and policy. Regardless of area of study, we seek a colleague who can advance knowledge in the field of higher education and enhance the research, teaching, and service of the Higher Education Administration and Policy program. We encourage scholars with strong methodological training, an established track record of external funding, and interest in building on our strong legacy of research-practice partnerships to apply for this position.
The successful applicant for this tenure-track/tenured open-rank professor position is expected to maintain a clear, systematic line of research; seek external research funding; publish in scholarly journals; present research findings at meetings of professional associations; contribute to advising and teaching, especially recruiting and mentoring doctoral students.
