Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Engineer to serve as a Senior Engineer or Project Manager for a wide variety of municipal water and wastewater projects. The candidate will utilize expertise in water and wastewater engineering, including system conveyance design, storage, sanitary conveyance design, hydraulic modeling analysis, and more. This role involves preparing feasibility studies, master plans, engineering plans, specifications, estimates, and coordinating with regulatory agencies for project permitting.
Responsibilities
Work in a highly flexible, team-oriented environment to contribute to the growth of the Water and Environmental Business Unit in Utah.
Plan, design, and lead a wide range of municipal water and wastewater systems and facilities.
Serve as Project Manager or engineer of record, collaborating with a team of support professionals, including drafters, EITs, GIS technicians, and technical editors.
Assist in business development efforts, engage in professional organizations, and prepare proposals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
BS in Civil Engineering
Registered Professional Engineer in Utah
10+ years of experience as a municipal utilities design engineer with general civil and water/wastewater design experience
Knowledge of local, state, and federal design standards
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Background in AutoCAD (GIS is a plus but not required)
Technical memorandum and report writing skills
Experience working with water conservation districts in Utah, local public works departments, and secondary water companies
Work Environment The work environment offers a flexible 9/80 schedule, allowing every other Friday off. The position is based in-office from Monday to Friday. Our holistic wellbeing program focuses on physical, emotional, financial, career, and community health.
Job Type & Location Permanent position based out of South Jordan, Utah.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $140,000.00 - $200,000.00/yr.
