Strategic Account Manager - Groveport, OH The Strategic Accounts Manager is fully accountable for the long‑term evolution of the client’s staffing operations, including overall direction and operational management of all business activities. This role is responsible for day‑to‑day supervision of personnel to ensure timely, accurate, and high‑quality delivery of customer goods and services. It oversees employee relations at the site—coaching, performance reviews, removal from assignments, and exit interviews—while ensuring client satisfaction and engagement through superior customer service. The role anticipates staffing requirements, develops value‑added services to support changing client needs, and measures performance against established KPIs.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Foster a consultative relationship with the client across all levels of management to ensure a clear understanding of the client’s business, staffing needs, culture, and program expectations.

Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies that deliver applicant flow and hiring results to meet and exceed fill‑rate and on‑time‑fill goals.

Anticipate and understand the local talent market and implement a workforce planning strategy to ensure a continuous pipeline of quality talent.

Deliver client‑customized new‑hire orientations.

Run and create reports to identify workforce challenges, raise escalations when appropriate, and collaborate with the client to adjust expectations (using CRM, Power BI, time/attendance software).

Proactively identify and raise issues around limited and/or excess staff capacity.

Collaborate with the client to address and resolve staff interpersonal, personal, and professional development needs.

Serve as an escalation point for client, procurement, operations, and HR managers to discuss issues or requests involving the client program and/or associates.

Coach associates on policies that could have legal implications and involve onsite HR and lead investigations.

Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through regular communication and quarterly business reviews with the client.

Oversee team duties and responsibilities, coach and develop the team, and assign and end associate assignments.

Conduct audits related to brand and regulatory requirements.

Successful track record of increasing customer service levels and satisfaction, enhanced scope of responsibilities, and working relationships with colleagues/management.

HR and data management experience.

Demonstrable success managing a team or process.

Familiarity with a heavy process‑oriented environment.

Ability to lead, organize, and build effective and diverse teams.

Seasoned critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent communication skills—both oral and written—across all platforms.

Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, using appropriate language, style, and methods for the audience.

Results oriented with a focus on quality, timeliness, and cost‑effectiveness; able to prioritize, plan, and monitor progress against objectives.

Responsive to change and quick to adapt to new situations.

The anticipated annual salary for this position is $66,500–$76,500. This range does not include any other compensation components or benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including qualifications, years of relevant experience, specific skills, level of education, certifications or other professional licenses, and the location of the job.
