High school diploma or GED. Three years experience working in an administrative or purchasing field. An associates degree and 1 year experience can substitute for the required experience. Preferred Qualifications
Preference may be given to candidates with the following qualifications: One or more years of working in MyFloridaMarketPlace/Ariba on Demand and/or Pcard WORKS. Requirements
Employment in this position is contingent upon a satisfactory Level 1 fingerprint background check at no cost to the candidate, prior to hire. Office hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. This is a 40 hour per week, highly specialized position responsible for the procurement of commodities and services. Ensures the timely and ethical purchase of commodities and services in accordance with federal, state and agency laws, rules and policies with special regard to Chapter 112, 287.017, and 255 Florida Statutes. Enter applicable P-Card transactions into Pcard Works. Serves as the subject matter expert providing up-to-date information to customers, vendors and the public. Accurately and efficiently maintains procurement records and filing systems. Monitors and ensures payment for services and commodities. Utilizes MFMP/Ariba on Demand to generate, review, approve and/or audit purchase orders. Provide procurement trainings to staff. Assist staff with purchasing systems (i.e. Pcard WORKS, MFMP/AOD, etc.), rules, policies and procedures. Track and assist with competitive solicitations. Function as a Superbuyer for FWRI. Assist in auditing P-card transactions for accuracy and compliance with rules, policies and procedures. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of the basic principles of procurement. Skill in: performing basic mathematical calculations, oral and written communications, use of a personal computer and spreadsheet and word processing software and demonstrated excellent customer service. Ability to: understand and solve complex problems, interpret and follow complex rules, policies and procedures; show initiative, follow-through and work accurately with details, establish and maintain effective professional relationships; enter, gather and summarize data and prepare written reports.
