A respected and growing commercial landscape company is looking for a seasoned Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of maintenance clients and drive continued growth in Jacksonville FL. This is an ideal opportunity for a driven professional with a strong background in landscape operations client relations and regional horticulture.
The Account Manager will act as the face of the company for assigned accounts ensuring contract performance, proactive client communication and operational efficiency. This role bridges field operations and client service and is best suited for someone who thrives in a dynamic detail-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Cultivate long-term relationships with commercial clients including HOAs, property managers and facility directors to support retention and identify new opportunities for enhancements and upsells.
Serve as the primary liaison between the client and internal production crews ensuring service delivery aligns with expectations and contract specifications.
Visit job sites regularly to monitor quality, resolve issues and ensure crews are meeting company and safety standards.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for additional work within existing accounts.
Generate proposals for enhancements, monitor budgets and track account profitability using company metrics and reporting tools.
Quickly and effectively address client concerns and communicate resolutions.
Qualifications
4 years of experience in account management, landscape operations or sales preferably within commercial landscape maintenance.
Strong understanding of Southeast regional plant material, irrigation systems and maintenance standards.
Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus though not required.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
