Job Title Architect – Multifamily Residential Projects

Location Northern New Jersey

Salary Range $80,000 – $95000 (commensurate with experience)

Employment Type Full-Time Onsite in Office - NO remote nor NO hybrid offered.

Overview Our client, a well-established multifamily residential real estate developer based in Northern New Jersey, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architect to join their in-house team. The ideal candidate will assist in the planning, design, and documentation of ground-up and renovation projects within their residential portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Support the design and development of multifamily residential buildings, from concept through construction documents.

Draft architectural plans and elevations using AutoCAD and Revit.

Create 3D models and renderings using SketchUp.

Assist with code reviews, zoning analysis, and permit submissions.

Collaborate with internal project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure design intent is carried through all phases of construction.

Participate in design meetings and site visits to ensure project milestones are met.

Maintain organized and accurate project files and documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field required.

2–5 years of experience in architectural design, preferably in residential or multifamily projects.

Must have proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
