Aerotek is hiring a Maintenance Technician
for a manufacturing facility located in Humboldt, TN. 3rd shift: 6pm-6am on a 2-2-3 schedule paying $30-35/hr depend on experience. Direct Hire. Please apply for immediate consideration or email resumes to jchampio@aerotek.com Responsibilities
Inspect, troubleshoot, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Perform installations of equipment or machinery, including fabrication and welding as needed. Assemble and repair pipe systems, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment throughout the facility. Record and pass down maintenance reports. Perform building and facilities maintenance tasks, including plumbing, drywall, painting, etc. Conduct preventative maintenance, including cleaning and lubricating machinery parts. Clean and maintain heating and steam boilers, testing equipment as necessary. Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and lubricate high-speed packaging equipment. Load and unload #6 fuel oil from semis or rail cars. Monitor wastewater lift stations and perform duties related to waste treatment. Perform instrumentation and calibration using flow meters, temperature sensors, and pressure gauges. Monitor temperatures of materials and processes to ensure optimal conditions and prevent overheating. Essential Skills
Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, mechanical and industrial maintenance. Experience in preventive maintenance and installations. Strong understanding of maintenance repair, valve repair, and welding. Competence in instrumentation, calibration, and flow meters. Experience in food manufacturing and packaging maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in maintenance, with previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment. Experience with high-speed packaging is . High school diploma or GED required; additional trade schooling is a bonus. Must pass a pulmonary function test for full-face respirator use. Excellent math and reading skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently.
