Overview
The role is a Developer (COTS) who collaborates with applications analysts to translate business and integration requirements into configurable component compositions and solutions. We are looking for a candidate with deep technical skills, ownership of application maintenance, effective collaboration, and support capability.
How you would contribute
Proficient in software development lifecycles, including Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and AIM Methodology.
Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, customizing, and integrating Oracle e-Business Suite and Salesforce applications with other systems, providing ongoing support and future enhancements.
Work with team members to scope, design, develop, test, implement, support, and code, performing unit testing of application software across production support, enhancements and projects.
Achieve performance targets for responding to and resolving production support issues within agreed timelines.
Invent technical solutions for specified needs, building components like extensions, views, customizations, reports, and workflows alone or in a team.
Design and develop high‑quality software on the Force.com platform.
Performance improvement in the applications environment: tuning code, application health checks, and making improvement proposals and implementations.
Follow documentation, software development methodology, version control, testing, and migration standards.
Understand key integration points, work multi‑functionally across different business processes, and address challenges faced by business teams.
Meet service level agreements for production support response and resolution. Resolve problems, pinpoint root cause, and apply corrective measures to ensure permanent resolution.
Serve as a mentor to less experienced application developers.
Create an inclusive environment that promotes mutual knowledge exchange.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Manage prioritization and execution of tasks in a high‑pressure environment.
Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Qualifications
Excellent technical skills with major ERP applications such as Oracle and Salesforce.
Proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, Workflow, Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, and Oracle development tools.
Proficiency in Oracle Applications R12 and Oracle Fusion.
Understanding of interfacing mechanisms, Web Services, ETL, etc.
Solid understanding of relational databases (tables, views, indexes, tablespaces) and entity‑relationship diagram translation.
Hands‑on software troubleshooting and research experience.
Experience with change‑management tools and processes, source‑code control, versioning, branching, defect tracking, and release management.
Good knowledge of Oracle and ERP APIs.
In‑depth knowledge of application code registration procedures.
Solid understanding of Unix/Linux shell scripting.
Ability to identify system impact for small and large initiatives.
Experience with global implementations of Oracle EBS and Salesforce, building highly available, scalable, and secure systems.
Coordinate migrations/implementations of changes between development, test, and production environments.
Expertise in interfaces, conversion, and data migration between different Oracle ERP modules, Oracle Cloud, Salesforce, and third‑party applications.
Experience working in a DevOps framework.
Expert knowledge in lightning component development, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
Expert knowledge in designing and building applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
Experience creating RESTful and SOAP web services in Salesforce platform.
Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling, including Salesforce SOQL and SOSL.
Expert knowledge of MVC concepts.
Experience designing and developing applications using OOP concepts and design patterns.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced agile development environment.
Passion for measuring and improving code.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, multitasking, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated understanding of Salesforce architecture and API.
Experience using ANT based deployment.
Experience using the Force.com data loader and handling data migration assignments.
Experience with CI/CD concepts and platforms/tools.
Experience with development tools such as VS Code and GIT.
Experience
5+ years of proven experience designing and building modern enterprise/large‑scale applications.
5+ years of experience with SQL (advanced queries, tuning) and PL/SQL.
5+ years of experience in Oracle Application Development and Oracle Development Tools.
5+ years in an R12 Oracle Applications environment, including knowledge of Oracle Application Object Library.
Good experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
5+ years of professional IT/Engineering experience, including Java, JavaScript, and AJAX.
5+ years in Force.com, Lightning component development (Aura/LWC), and Apex programming (Salesforce Platform Developer I).
Exposure to Salesforce Community Clouds.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
