Associate Brand Manager – Consumer Packaged Goods

Role Summary A growing consumer goods organization is seeking an
Associate Brand Manager
to help strengthen brand presence across digital, retail, and customer-facing channels. This role blends creative execution with exposure to the financial and trade aspects of brand management. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on marketer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is eager to develop into a well-rounded brand leader within the
CPG space .
Digital & Consumer Marketing
Lead development of content for social and digital channels, including Meta, YouTube, and TikTok.
Manage influencer and affiliate programs to increase reach and engagement.
Contribute to copywriting, creative briefs, and marketing collateral.
Support public relations initiatives and partnerships with relevant consumer audiences.
Brand Development
Support upcoming packaging and brand refresh initiatives, ensuring visual and message consistency across all touchpoints.
Manage updates to company website and coordinate with creative agencies to execute brand campaigns.
Help reinforce brand storytelling and positioning through integrated marketing efforts.
Monitor category trends and brand performance using syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, Spins) and internal POS reports.
Track digital KPIs and campaign performance metrics to drive optimization.
Contribute to consumer research efforts that inform future brand strategy.
Trade & Customer Marketing (Support Role)
Partner with Sales to execute retailer-specific programs, promotions, and presentations.
Assist in analyzing trade spend effectiveness and ROI.
Provide marketing materials and insights to strengthen customer relationships.
Assist in tracking marketing and trade budgets.
Contribute to monthly brand performance reporting in collaboration with Finance and Marketing leadership.
Gain foundational understanding of P&L drivers and how marketing initiatives impact overall business results.
Project & Agency Management
Coordinate with creative, digital, and media partners to deliver on marketing priorities.
Manage multiple concurrent projects using tools such as Asana, Monday, or Trello.
Qualifications Experience
1–4 years of experience in
consumer packaged goods (CPG)
marketing or brand management.
Experience in digital marketing, influencer/affiliate programs, or PR preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field required.
Skills & Attributes
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across teams.
Comfortable presenting insights and strategies to leadership and retail partners.
Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn within a growth‑oriented team environment.
Proficiency in marketing and analytics tools (GA4, SEO, Canva, SEMRush, ahRefs, Cision).
Familiarity with syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, Spins) and market research methodologies.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
