a leading provider of medical imaging and diagnostic services , is seeking a
Desktop Support Technician
who is ready to kickstart their IT career in a hands-on environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others, takes pride in solving technical challenges, and wants to grow within a collaborative, fast-paced organization.
What You’ll Do
Provide first-level technical support for users—troubleshooting software, hardware, and peripheral issues.
Respond to support tickets and calls quickly and courteously, ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Document, track, and monitor issues to ensure timely resolution.
Collaborate with System Engineers and other team members to resolve escalated issues.
Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of computers and software tools.
Work primarily during 1st shift hours (after 6 months, paid on-call rotation every 8 weeks)
What You’ll Bring
A
strong work ethic
and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
At least 1 year of experience
working with
Microsoft Windows operating systems
(through coursework, internships, or professional experience).
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or Associate’s degree plus related work experience.
Basic understanding of networking and remote access troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
Ability to collaborate with peers and support users at all levels of the organization.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as you will be supporting multiple sites (mileage will be compensated).
Preferred (Not Required)
Prior experience in a helpdesk, customer support, or IT internship role.
Exposure to healthcare, radiology, or medical informatics systems (a plus, not required).
