Job Title: Oracle DBA Lead & Big Data

ONSITE (All 5 days work from office)

Job Details Duties and Responsibilities
Works with stakeholders to analyze data needs, design or evaluate solutions and develop databases to meet business requirements
Troubleshoots and resolves database integrity issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, connectivity issues, and security issues
Troubleshoots Oracle related CPU, Memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention
Manages encrypted databases
Conducts performance tuning and query optimization using Performance Monitor and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools
Executes backups, restores, recovery models, and database maintenance tasks
Writes and troubleshoots SQL code and designs (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints)
Documents processes and procedures
Upgrades database from one SQL version to another SQL version
Provides technical support and coordination for core infrastructure components including server, network, storage, and software
Experience and Education Requirements
Minimum 8 years of experience in software development using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Unix
Extensive experience in developing stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, cursors, packages, and exceptions
Knowledge of Python (advantageous)
Expertise in database performance tuning and Unix programming
Experience in data replication within Oracle and Oracle to other DBs; knowledge of Golden Gate and QLIK replication software
Good experience in developing programs to import data from various sources into Oracle Database tables using PL/SQL and SQL*Loader
Experience with ETL process for data loading from Oracle to Data Warehouse
Experience in deployments and production support of developed applications; customer handling experience
Strong analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills; ability to work in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment
Hands‑on experience in Oracle database design and modeling and query tuning
