Job Details CARS Protection Plus (CARS), based near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a leading provider of vehicle service contracts to the independent car dealership sector. The company delivers extraordinary value through innovative service contracts that enhance the customer experience. CARS sells contracts in 40 states across the U.S.

Location: On the road (travel required)

Reports to: Zone Sales Manager

Responsibilities

Originating and maintaining relationships with independent used auto dealerships throughout the assigned region.

Full P&L ownership of the territory.

Develop key relationships with dealer partners and generate contract sales volume across existing and prospective dealer base.

Key Day‑to‑Day Tasks

Meet with 10+ dealers per day (approx. 50% existing, 50% prospective).

Coach and mentor existing dealers to increase contract production.

Present the CARS product line and inherent value proposition to prospective customers.

Prepare and submit daily communication logs with accurate, actionable meeting observations.

Liaise between dealers and CARS for exceptions and claim issues as they arise.

Continuously update dealers on product changes and modifications.

Coordinate with in‑office CARS staff to accomplish both sales goals and customer experience objectives.

Qualifications

Track record of sales success.

Self‑starter with strong work ethic.

Unwavering willingness to achieve financial success.

Honesty and integrity.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust.

Knowledge of auto dealerships is helpful but not required.

Valid U.S. driver’s license.
