Managing Consultant - US Investment Banking & PE at Pearse Partners We’re partnering with a leading global alternative investment manager seeking a Vice President for their Equities Product Strategy team in New York.

This newly created position sits within a high-growth global platform, supporting the strategic expansion and positioning of the firm’s private equities strategies across fundamental, quantitative, and thematic approaches.

Key Responsibilities

Partner closely with portfolio managers, investor relations, and distribution to craft product positioning and messaging across all equity strategies globally.

Develop and maintain high-quality marketing, diligence, and fundraising materials, including investor presentations, product summaries, and DDQ/RFP responses.

Lead preparation for investor meetings and consultant interactions, articulating investment philosophy, performance, and key differentiators.

Support new product development and launches, coordinating with legal, compliance, and investment teams to ensure readiness.

Conduct competitive and peer analysis to inform product positioning, strategy differentiation, and business development priorities.

Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, contributing to the evolution of the firm’s global equities platform and investor engagement model.

Ideal Profile

6+ years of experience in equities product strategy, investment specialist, or product management within an asset manager, alternatives platform, or investment bank.

Strong understanding of equities markets and the ability to translate complex investment strategies into clear, commercial narratives.

Excellent presentation, writing, and analytical skills, with proven ability to craft compelling investor materials.

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with AI or automation tools is advantageous.

Experience engaging with institutional or consultant-led investors is preferred.
