Position Overview
Plastics Engineer – Plastic Molded Auto Parts – Stratford, CT
Manufacturing Process Engineer Plastics Engineering Design RJG Plastic Molding Injection Molding Overmolding Dual‑shot Molding Insert Molding Thermoforming Automotive LEAN APQP.
Responsibilities
Interface with customers and define project requirements for new contract manufacturing projects.
Coordinate with internal teams in Engineering, Manufacturing, and Business Development to set project timelines.
Develop and analyze program budgets for all stages from design to prototyping to mass‑production.
Report to internal and external customers and management on milestones and timeline adherence.
Qualifications
Project Management Professional certification.
Experience following Six Sigma protocols.
Prior program management experience, preferably in a contract manufacturing organization.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO/TS16949 standards and experience working in an ISO environment.
B.S. in Engineering discipline, Manufacturing field or Business.
