Reports To

Store Manager

Responsibilities

Produce sales gains by providing customer service.

Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual statistics.

Provide consistent, documented appraisal of associates’ sales performance, offering feedback on strengths and opportunities.

Adhere to visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.

Maintain a professional appearance consistent with company dress code policy.

Protect company assets and enforce company policies and procedures.

Assist in preparation of store schedules, ensuring proper coverage and wage control compliance.

Accurately manage store inventory: receiving, transferring, pricing and product counts.

Document and record store activities per company policies and legal requirements.

Open and close the store following procedures in the Operations P&P Manual.

Recruit, train, and supervise store associates, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Communicate with employees at all levels of the company.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of related experience.

Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.

Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with computer and related software.

Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.

Standing required for 100% of the work time.

Ability to work unsupervised.

Preferred Job Required Knowledge & Skills Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Assistant Store Mangers PT are also available for monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount.
