This position oversees key operational areas including:
Item Processing
ATM Operations
Electronic Banking
Online Banking
You’ll lead with vision and purpose, ensuring operational excellence while fostering a culture of growth, innovation, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
Oversee online banking and account opening platforms, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Serve as liaison with the Federal Reserve Bank and NEACH for Check 21 and ACH processing.
Build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to enhance services and drive automation.
Identify and implement process improvements and technology solutions to increase efficiency.
Collaborate with fraud prevention teams to protect customer assets.
Promote data stewardship and ensure compliance with governance and security policies.
Represent the bank in community and industry events, reinforcing its commitment to local engagement.
What You’ll Bring
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience:
7+ years in financial services payment operations, ideally within a community bank.
Certifications:
NEACH Certified (AAP or APRP) or willingness to obtain within 12 months.
Expertise:
Strong knowledge of payment systems including ACH, RTP, Wires, Debit Cards, Mobile/Merchant Deposit, and Online Banking.
Skills:
Proven leadership, analytical thinking, customer service excellence, and tech‑savvy mindset.
