Our Journeyman Electricians are responsible for a range of duties, from interpreting plans and specifications to the hands‑on installation and termination of electrical systems. As a representative of our team, punctuality and dependability are paramount. Ensuring safety and compliance with regulations is non-negotiable. In line with our commitment to safety and integrity, all employees will undergo random drug screenings, in adherence to our Drug‑Free Workplace policy. There may also be occasional travel requirements to other sites within our divisional territory. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Reading and interpreting blueprints. Significant experience pulling electrical wiring through conduits and terminating electrical panels. Setting fixtures, outlets, and various electrical devices. Connecting wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, and other systems and components. Skilled in installing, bending, and removing conduit. Expertise in installing and replacing lighting fixtures/systems, and working with electrical panels, transformers, switches, and motors. Proficiently use power tools for materials ranging from concrete to plastics. Troubleshoot and test various electrical issues. Install and troubleshoot kilowatt‑hour meters. Use test equipment such as meggar test, ammeter, voltmeter, etc. Connect single and three‑phase transformers with accurate voltage tap adjustments. Lead electrical wiring installation in commercial spaces and troubleshoot installation malfunctions in preparation for inspections. Installing and ensuring well‑functioning lighting, alarms, and other electrical systems. Install, test, and review diagrams of circuits, outlets, load centers, and panel boards. Following state and local building codes during installations and inspections. Setting up comprehensive electrical systems by installing fixtures and equipment. Embedding safety and distribution components, like switches, resistors, and circuit‑breaker panels. Connecting wiring in electrical circuits and networks while ensuring component compatibility. Preparing and connecting wiring through assembled conduits. Daily consultation with Foremen and Supervisors on installation instructions and being self‑sufficient. Regularly inspecting retail spaces connected to new builds; this includes replacing old wiring, cleaning circuits, etc. Troubleshooting effectively to pinpoint hazards or malfunctions and repairing or replacing damaged units. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and multitask in a high‑paced environment. Requirements

Must hold a valid State Journeyman License. Proven experience as an electrician in a commercial setting. Familiarity with the current NEC code. Consent to pre‑employment background, drug screening, and have reliable transportation. Provision of professional references. Possession of basic tools and PPE. Compensation

Base Wage: $50.00 to $55.00/hour, based on experience. Additional Payments: Potential for per diems or Prevailing Wage rates depending on work location.
