Director, Strategy As part of Zeta’s Audience Intelligence Platform’s (AIP) Strategy team, you will contribute to and lead work with Fortune 2000 marketers, both pre‑sale and post‑sale, helping them optimize marketing strategies and tactics with a focus on digital channels. Using your analytical skills and digital marketing experience, you will design and execute omni‑channel marketing and measurement campaigns to drive better marketing ROI. You will also develop, create, train, and evangelize new and existing digital strategy offerings throughout Zeta.

Responsibilities

Strategic consultation: Provide strategic marketing insights and data‑driven consulting to clients and internal teams.

Account expansion: Identify growth opportunities in existing accounts, moving from single‑channel to omni‑channel programs.

Business development: Support the Business Development team by building credibility for Zeta’s solutions and demonstrating results.

Client interface: Present and sell ideas to clients, partner with Business Development, and lead client‑facing demos.

Digital marketing strategy: Develop, measure, and optimize customer marketing programs across email, mobile, web, social, and other digital channels.

Measurement: Guide conversations around marketing measurement solutions such as incrementality, multi‑touch attribution, and media mix modeling.

Thought leadership: Communicate emerging digital marketing trends and best practices to clients and internal teams.

Internal coordination: Maintain relationships with adjacent teams to ensure seamless client experience.

Product roadmap: Advise product on platform gaps based on client needs and competitive solutions.

Qualifications

10+ years of client‑facing digital solutions experience, preferably in the digital marketing industry with ad tech and data experience.

2+ years of client‑facing experience in sales, business development, sales engineering, or solution consulting.

Strong knowledge of enterprise‑class digital/email marketing and/or programmatic/social media marketing, including technologies, vendor ecosystems, and industry trends.

Experience managing email, display, social, mobile, search, and/or affiliate programs.

Understanding of customer relationship marketing concepts and tactical approaches to acquisition and retention.

Knowledge of customer segmentation and modeling approaches is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce high‑quality decks and present with confidence to senior leaders.

Ability to manage multiple high‑priority projects in a fast‑paced environment.

High intellectual curiosity, drive, and proactivity.

Scrappiness and adaptability; learning to find solutions when all answers are not available.

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Salary Range The compensation range for this role is $130,000 – $150,000, depending on location and experience.
