Position Summary

The Engineering Manager – Engine Hardware leads the design and development of engine system components and hardware. You will guide a team of mechanical engineers and designers to deliver projects that meet business objectives, raising the bar on quality, performance, and manufacturability. You will plan, coordinate, and clearly communicate program scope and status to stakeholders; foster innovation and reuse; and contribute at every level of the hardware stack – from concept and simulation to prototyping, validation, supplier engagement, and production release. Key Responsibilities

Be an effective people manager with the ability to get hands‑on in technical design (design, CAD, tolerance analysis, Design for Manufacturability/Serviceability, thermal, vibration, shock analysis, DVP&R etc.). Coaches and develops team of engineers, designers, and prototype specialists, creating an inclusive culture. Develop production‑ready hardware and release robust drawings and BOMs, in PLM/PDM. Define and lead platform strategy for engine and vehicle systems, kits, and accessories (modularity, reuse, interface control, scalability, manufacturability). Own complex projects from planning through execution – manage risk, cost, timing, and release readiness. Run day‑to‑day product development: standups, unblock issues, supplier coordination, and cross‑functional alignment. Collaborate with Product, Program Management, Validation, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Systems to drive successful product release and launch. Oversee supplier development projects and approve/manage technical deliverables. Manage New Product Development, Continuous Improvement, and Root Cause Analysis projects with urgency, accuracy, and accountability. Required Qualifications

B.S in Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 7+ years in mechanical product development, including 1‑3 years in technical leadership/people leadership. Strong Background in 3D CAD (Solidworks, Creo), GD&T, Analysis, materials and manufacturing processes (machining, casting, sheet metal, welding). Proficiency in PLM/PDM, BOM/Configuration Control, change management. Proven project planning and defect tracking in Jira. Strong organization, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Experience managing internal and supplier interfacing projects. Qualifications

Master’s degree in engineering or related field. Passionate about automotive and powertrain vehicles and systems. Knowledge of Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) fundamentals and Engine Management Systems Why Join Holley
