Director of Sales – Surgical Indirect Channel (Eastern US) Join Bioventus as the Director of Sales, Surgical Indirect Channel, where you will drive sales goals and marketing objectives for our Bone Graft Substitutes product portfolio in the Eastern United States. You will oversee Regional Distribution Managers, set regional sales strategy, and negotiate contracts and partnerships at the field level. You will ensure effective communication and collaboration between your team, Bioventus, and key customer contacts.

What you’ll be doing

Manage and develop a team to achieve and deliver revenue goals for each product category on a quarterly and annual basis in the defined geography.

Develop business plans to meet or exceed area financial sales and marketing objectives, create and manage intelligence gathering capabilities in the marketplace, and direct tactical implementation of the business plan.

Participate in strategic planning and sales forecasting; provide market insights, trends, competitive activity, and recommend changes to strategic and tactical sales plans.

Build professional and technical knowledge by engaging with customers, attending conferences, delivering presentations, training field personnel, and reviewing professional publications.

Prepare, administer, and control expense budgets as part of overall profits.

Maintain compliance with Bioventus’ Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies and procedures, and internal controls.

Attract, develop and retain talent; provide continuous feedback and coaching using talent‑and‑performance management tools.

Collaborate with Audit & Risk Management to identify and mitigate business risks.

What you’ll bring to the table

BA or BS in Business, Marketing, Biomedical Sciences, etc.; MBA or advanced studies preferred.

Five (5) to eight (8) years of high achievement in Sales and Channel Management in the medical device industry.

Strong leadership skills with a motivating style.

Multi‑unit / cross product line management experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proven success managing indirect sales channels and distributor networks.

Deep understanding of orthopedic, spine, or biologics markets.

Familiarity with regulatory and reimbursement environments for biologics.

Deep understanding of hospital procurement, GPOs, IDNs, and pricing.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands‑on approach to leadership.

Ability to travel up to 50% as needed.
