in a 100% remote role (Boston-area candidates highly preferred), where you’ll own accounting operations, drive month‑end closes, and partner directly with the CFO. Oversee month‑end and year‑end close processes to ensure timely, GAAP‑compliant financial reporting. Manage general ledger, accounts payable, receivable, and payroll for operational accuracy. Drive process improvements and internal controls using NetSuite ERP as the core system. Administer NetSuite for finance, including configurations, custom reporting, workflows, and integrations. Collaborate with external auditors and tax partners for compliance and successful annual audits. Provide actionable financial insights and analysis to support leadership decision‑making. Develop and document accounting policies and procedures to foster scalability. Supervise and mentor part‑time accounting team members, promoting growth and efficiency. Contribute to special projects enhancing financial operations and reporting. What We’re Looking For

Experience: 7+ years in progressive accounting, with 3+ years in a manager or controller‑level role; SaaS/software experience required. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Certifications: CPA or CMA strongly preferred. Technical Skills: Extensive NetSuite ERP experience (implementation, administration, reporting, workflows) required. Knowledge: Strong US GAAP understanding and financial reporting expertise. Skills: Excellent communication and leadership abilities to collaborate across functions. Mindset: Motivated, autonomous, and thrives in a fast‑paced, remote environment.
