Director of Strategy and Special Projects Based in the Mid-Atlantic, this position will lead key strategic initiatives for Titan Operating Group. The Group comprises ~400 dialysis clinics and ~50 inpatient acute programs across 5 states worth ~$1B in annual revenue. You will report to the Group Vice President (Operations) and will serve as a thought partner and strategic leader to our operating team. Representative workstreams include development of the 3-year strategic plan, decision making around capital deployment, identification of new market opportunities and development of new models of collaboration in existing markets. You will join a team of highly motivated individuals and, at this level in our organization, our leadership ranks consist of ex-consultants, military leaders, investment bankers and hospital C‑suite executives.

This role requires candidates to be based in the Mid-Atlantic region. This person will be traveling within the region and for quarterly Divisional and Corporate meetings.

Essential Duties Develop growth strategy

Act as a strategic thought partner to GVP and divisional teams, and play a key role in setting the long‑term strategic objectives of the operating group

Lead quarterly strategy and planning sessions with divisional leadership teams to further define strategic priorities at the market level

Develop KPIs, facilitate operator stakeholder buy‑in, and drive progress against key strategic initiatives

Collaborate with SMEs across the broader DaVita enterprise to deliver “game‑changing” insights and drive differential growth

Play point on all growth‑related initiatives, including denovo identification and approvals, clinic utilization management and payer partnerships

Quarterback special projects

Serve as primary internal consultant on ad‑hoc key business issues that emerge within the Group and the broader enterprise (e.g., compensation strategy, operating group response to regulatory changes, etc.)

Develop hypotheses, structure approach, and drive the work of multi‑disciplinary teams (operators, support partners, corporate partners, etc.)

Facilitate answer development, and lead presentation of results

Serve as Chief of Staff to the Group Vice President (market GM)

Serve as thought partner and advisor to the Group Vice President; synthesize data, perform analyses, draw insights and translating insights into proposed action

Facilitate communication at scale; prepare presentations for a multitude of audiences, including executive leadership (e.g., COO, CEO, etc.), group leadership (DVPs), and field operations (Regional Operations Directors, Facility Administrators, etc.)

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years experience in Post‑MBA role at top‑tier management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy role highly preferred

Top‑tier MBA or advanced degree (e.g., MD or PhD) preferred

Healthcare experience desired

Management/leadership experience a plus

The Salary Range for the role is $133,300.00 – $195,700.00 per year. Compensation will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
