Position Summary As the Vice President, Commercial Technology you will be responsible for defining and executing the IT and digital strategy that enables commercial success. You will partner closely with Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Digital Health teams to deliver scalable technology solutions that enhance customer engagement, drive data-driven decision-making, and support interoperability with the broader healthcare ecosystem, including electronic health records (EHRs).
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a forward-looking Commercial IT plan aligned with corporate strategy, ensuring IT is a value-driving partner to Commercial functions
Lead the development and deployment of digital solutions that support omnichannel engagement, customer relationship management, field force effectiveness, marketing automation and customer service
Lead the execution for secure, scalable interoperability with EHR / EMR systems to enable real-time insights, care coordination, and healthcare provider (HCP) engagement
Oversee implementation and lifecycle management of key commercial platforms including CRM (Salesforce.com), marketing automation, content management, and commercial analytics (tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
Serve as the strategic IT partner to Commercial, Marketing, Customer Success and Digital Health leaders to define priorities, translate business needs to technology solutions, and deliver technology-enabled projects and initiatives with urgency and business value focus
Lead enterprise-wide change management to maximize adoption of digital platforms by field and commercial teams
Education, Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required, advanced degree (MBA, MS, or similar) strongly preferred
15 years of experience required, with at least 7 years of experience in people management
10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in healthcare, with at least 7 years supporting commercial functions (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service)
Must have direct experience leading platform architecture configuration, integration and strategy with Salesforce.com
Proven experience with healthcare interoperability, including EHR / EMR integration, HL7, FHIR, or related data exchange standards
Demonstrated success implementing and maintaining commercial platforms (web content management, CRM, reporting) and integrating them with clinical and healthcare data systems
Strong business acumen and understanding of the healthcare industry and go to market concepts
Expertise in commercial excellence, digital health, HCP engagement strategies
Familiarity with EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, etc.), CRM, marketing cloud, content management, customer hierarchies
Deep knowledge of data privacy, consent management, and compliance in regulated healthcare environments
Ability to travel occasionally, as needed.
