Are you passionate about human space exploration and working with a diverse team to deliver systems that enable the exploration of space while benefiting people on Earth? If so, we need you to help achieve great things for NASA’s deep space exploration missions. Responsibilities
Have software development background – more than just trivial web programming and integration experience. Be a full‑stack developer familiar with frontend, middleware, and database layers. Demonstrate ability to work with various languages and frameworks. Have experience with databases (e.g., MongoDB) and REST APIs. Work in a fast‑paced, distributed team environment. Possess troubleshooting skills for nontrivial applications. Collaborate as part of a team environment. Maintain a professional relationship with the NASA customer, other contractors, and the Gateway HALO team. Provide coordinated support between engineering and other organizations/programs. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. Experience collecting and understanding stakeholder needs. React experience strongly desired. JavaScript/TypeScript is mandatory. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams). Enthusiastic, self‑starter who learns new concepts quickly. Excellent communication, collaboration, and coordination skills with internal and external customers. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks under limited supervision. Preferred Qualifications
Preference for onsite availability; remote work may be considered. Previous experience working with NASA. Node.js and Docker experience. Ability to configure environment using Docker. Experience with CM tools such as DOORS Next Gen or Windchill. Experience with SE&I requirements or verification workflows. Benefits
