We’re the TikTok Monetization Products data science team, enabling and championing data‑driven decision making. Our vision is to become a world‑class data science team where data is used rigorously to drive all decision making. Our mission is to drive monetization and sustainable revenue growth for TikTok through data science.
Responsibilities:
Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical methods.
Design, analyze, and interpret insights end‑to‑end on a project from data requirement gathering to data processing, modeling, and impactful business recommendations.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify new opportunities requiring sophisticated analytical and modeling techniques.
Design, execute, and interpret results of experiments (e.g., A/B testing).
Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to team leadership and influence strategic decision‑making.
Qualifications:
Currently in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, etc.).
Experience with data querying and manipulation using SQL, Python, or R.
Experience with data analysis in a scripting language (R, Python, MATLAB).
Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Internship experience in data science.
Research experience in data science.
Experience working with cross‑functional teams.
Agile, quick self‑learner, highly self‑motivated with strong sense of product ownership and creative problem‑solver.
Good collaborator and team player, comfortable working in a fast‑moving, culturally diverse and globally distributed team environment.

Compensation:
Base salary range $114,000–$177,777 annually (may vary by qualifications, location, etc.).
